On 4th February 2023 Pambula Daylight held its 33rd installation meeting. This ceremony was duee to have taken place in November 2020 but this never happened due to Covid which caused a lot of Lodge meetings to be cancelled or deferred. The same thing happened in 2021. Another attempt was made in NOvember 2022 but Covid again caused a deferral to February 2023. As there will be another installation meetin in 2023 this page has bee titled 2022 installation. The Master elect, Peter Barry, was first installed as Master of a Lodge in Victoria so his NSW installation required a full ceremony which was carried out in a very proficient manner by VW Bro Neil Dawson, the outgoing Master. The Grand Master's representative was a long time meber of the Lodge and its DC, RW Bro Kevin Mulcahy and making sure the ceremony went smoothly was the Grand Director of Ceremonies, VW Bro Bernie Alcock. A fraternal delegation of 7 from several Bairnsdale Lodges in Victoria attended along with brethren from Bega, Cooma, Bombala and Canberra making a total of 27 all up.

W Bro Charles de Rochefort, the Master of Bairnsdale Daylight LOdge with the travelling baton which rotates with Pambula Daylight at installation meetings, Normally Bairnsdale meets in May and Pambula in November, conveniently 6 months apart. Charles is the son of VW Bro Charles de Rochefort who was a foundation member of Pambula D/L when he moved here in 1988
