Saturday 10th day of the 11th month of the 12th year of the current century saw long time Mason, Bro. Franz Grothe installed in the Chair of King Solomon in the Mountain Lodge, Bombala. The installation was carried out in an exemplary manner by the outgoing Master, W Bro John Adamson who was assisted by RW Bro Warren Bruce as Grand Director of Ceremonies. The Grand Master was represented by the DGIW VW Bro Kevin Mulcahy who was supported by a delegation of 14 Grand Officers. Brethren from near and far witnessed the ceremony with visitors from the Orbost Lodge in Victoria, Lodge Cooma Monaro, Lodge Bega Remembrance, Lodge Pambula Daylight, Lodge Caledonia, Canberra, Lodge Ethos, Canberra.
The Lodge Ladies are to be congratulated for the wonderful banquet and the manner in which they decorated the tables for the meal. The Mountain Lodge is legendary for its country hospitality and they certainly lived up to this reputation on the night.
