On Thursday 5th july the Mountain Lodge, Bombala, attracted around 27 Brethren who braved the chilly conditions to witness the initiation of Donald Charles Cottee into the world of Freemasonry. This ceremony followed the initiation last month of another Bombala resident auguring well for the continued future of the Lodge.
Both Candidates are to be treated to a rendition of the first degree Tracing Board at the August meeting by W Bro Alf Gallina which will round off their initian into the Craft. The work of the evening was excellent according to all reports with a special "well done" to W Bro Garry Thompson for his explanation of the first working tools.
Lodge Cooma Monaro paid a Fraternal visit with 13 Brethren and Lodge Bega Remembrance were represented as well.
