There are installations and there are installations and this one was one of those that stays in the memory as exceptional. The Mountain Lodge is reknowned for its enjoyable installations and it's country hospitality and Saturday 14th Novemebr was no exception. The Lodge was honoured by the presence of the Grand Secretary, RW Bro Stephen Green representing the Grand Master, the Regional Grand Counsellor, RW Bro Bill Beattie, The District Grand Inspector of Workings, VW Bro Neil Dawson who travelled from Perth the same day to be there albeit arriving a bit late, and 13 other Grand Officers of various ranks from Bega, Canberra, Cooma, Orbost in Victoria, and Pambula.

As can be seen from the photos below, everyone enjoyed himself, the work in the Lodgeroom was excellent, the festive board was excellent and the ladies who prepared the meal were in excellent good humour (as usual). In all there were 43 Brethren in attendance from several Lodges including Lodge Ethos in Canberra, the Orbost Lodge in Victoria, Lodge Cooma Monaro, Lodge bega Remembrance, Lodge Pambula Daylight. The ceremony was overseen by VW Bro Tom Peadon who did a great job for his first run at being GDC. Three Fellowcrafts were also in attendance, 2 from Cooma and 1 from Bega.
