Lodge Pambula Daylight celebrated its 28th installation on Saturday 28th November with a unique ceremony for a re-installation. The Victorian Brethren were treated to a full installation ceremony as though the Master Elect was a Master Mason going in the chair for the first time. On handing the chair to the Installing Master W Bro Alf Gallina, the Master donned a Master Mason's apron and took up the office of Senior Warden. At the appropriate time he left the lodgeroom along with the Master Masons and returned after the BIM was opened. The ceremony was conducted by the installing Master with feeling and expertise which can only be achieved after many hours of practice.

The ceremony was witness by 15 Grand Officers headed by RW Bro Russell Yelds, PSGW, of the Mountain Lodge representing the Grand Master. Making up the delegation were the Regional Grand Counsellor RW Bro Bill Beattie, the District Grand Inspector of Workings VW Bro Neil Dwson, 4 Past Assistant Grand Masters, 4 Past Junior Grand Wardens, 2 Past District Grand Inspectors of Workings, 2 Past Deputy Grand Directors of Ceremonies.

Fifteen visitors travelled from Sydney, Bairnsdale, Canberra, Moruya, Coff Harbour, Bega, Bombala and Cooma to witness the ceremony and enjoy the fellowship of their brethren. Special mention should also be made of the effort put in by the caterer in providing a wonderful meal in the form of a "Ploughman's Lunch".
