On Saturday 1 March at 3pm the Cooma Monaro Lodge held a special meeting to welcome RW Bro Lee Pattinson who travelled all the way from Balranald to present a very educational and interesting discussion about Freemasonry. 11 members were in attendace with 9 visitors from each of the other 3 Lodges in the District. Lee had been invited to present his talk by RW Bro Jack Garside a member of the Cooma Lodge.

Lee's questions had everyone on their toes and some lively discussion took place about, among other things,  swords, oranges and eggs. Some of the differences between the NSW and Victorian rituals were also discussed as Lee is a member of a Victorian Lodge as well as his own Lodge in Balranald which is right on the border. His excellent presentation was acknowledged by a resounding round of applause.

After the meeting was closed the Brethren and their ladies retired to the RSL club for the South. Lee subsequently sent a very nice letter to the Worshipful Master and Brethren thanking them for them for the hospitality which was extended to him and his wife as well as the Worshipful Master of Lodge Wagga Wagga and his wife.
